I then printed the same report on my LaserJet printer, and then compared the two.

To put the HP 8720 to the extreme test, I tried printing a large multi-page report on my InkJet 8720 using the "best quality" setting. Interestingly enough I also have a small color LaserJet printer in my home office that I purchased several years ago thinking that I would use it for high quality printing of reports that had to be high quality. I have not counted the number of copies to a cartridge, but I can honestly say that it just keeps on printing almost endlessly! One of the major features that I have always liked about HP Inkjet printers is that you get LaserJet quality at a lower cost per page. I usually by the extra large capacity black cartridge which HP advertises is good for 7000 copies.

It is solid, well built, reliable, and best of all it uses the individual HP ink cartridges which saves money in the long run. All in all an excellent printer for the price. hone line to the printer and try it soon. The only function I have not used is the FAX.

Also, I like being able to send files to my printer wirelessly and having the printed documents waiting for me when I get home. I really like the duplex feature where by you can take two separate pages and have it printed front/back on one page. The print function is speedy - if a little bit noisy. This printer has consistently exceeded my expectations.
